Engineer Mohammed Sheimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, affirmed that Al-Nasr Automotive Company is one of the industrial strongholds under the Ministry of Public Business Sector and has long been a symbol of national industry in Egypt, noting that the company is now entering a new era.

Speaking before Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly today, he added that the restart of the company after years of suspension is not merely an industrial event—it is a testament to the Egyptian state’s resolve under President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s leadership, demonstrating a firm commitment to reviving the national industry and marking a fresh beginning toward achieving our grand ambitions in automotive and vehicle manufacturing.

This statement was made during the Prime Minister’s participation in the celebratory event held at Al-Nasr Automotive Company—affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector—on the occasion of the bus factory’s restart and the resumption of production after nearly 15 years of inactivity.

“An Achievement Underpinned by Collective Efforts and State Support”

The minister pointed out that the Ministry of Public Business Sector is making further efforts to develop its various affiliated companies and achieve its strategic goals in line with Egypt’s 2030 Sustainable Development Vision, the government’s work program, and the State Ownership Policy document. He explained that this achievement would not have been possible without the joint efforts and sustained perseverance of all the company’s employees, along with the state’s ongoing support for Egypt’s industrial sector and its commitment to rehabilitate and develop the companies under the Public Business Sector to keep pace with global advancements.
