CEO Reveals the “Future Vision” of Al-Nasr Automotive Company… and a Surprise Regarding “Growth Industries”
Dr. Khaled Shadid, the CEO of Al-Nasr Automotive Company, unveiled the company’s future vision following its redevelopment and revival. He noted that the company aims to fully utilize all its factories by integrating them into the production cycle.
Speaking before the Prime Minister today, he added, “We aim to invest in certain industries that drive growth and deepen the industrial sector while diversifying our product range to include light transport, golf cars, and electric tuk-tuks. In addition, we are committed to achieving optimal utilization of the company’s customs zone to facilitate and expedite logistical operations.”
This announcement was made during the celebratory event held at Al-Nasr Automotive Company—affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector—on the occasion of the bus factory’s restart and resumption of production after nearly 15 years of inactivity.

The celebration was attended by Major Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport; Engineer Mohammed Sheimi, Minister of Public Business Sector; several senior officials from the ministry and the company; Dr. Yasmin Fouad, Minister of Environment; Engineer Mahmoud Asmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy; and Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo. In addition, numerous officials from various agencies, members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, as well as ambassadors from several countries based in Cairo, were present.
